Wideband o2 sensor

Updated April 7th 2008
A wideband o2 sensor has the advantage of having a quite linear
voltage output regardless of the exhaust temperature. It is therefore better for precise tuning, often in conjunction with other meter/gauge types such as the egt gauge.
Its output is 0 - 5 Volts. A wideband sensor and a wideband air fuel ratio meter costs more and furthermore, the sensor is
not intended for being always installed which a narrow band sensor is. So I guess those who are the most interested have both a standard air fuel meter and also a wideband meter.
